Set Calls to Forward to a Specific Number or Contact

Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for configuring call forwarding on Teams Phones to a specific number or contact. Calls will remain forwarded until you manually disable call forwarding.

Environment 

There are instructions below for:

• Yealink Desk Phone
• Teams Desktop App
• Teams Mobile App

Steps

Yealink Desk Phone

1. Click on your profile picture

2. Select "Settings"

3. Click "Calling"

4. Toggle "Call forwarding" to on

5. Select "Forward to"

6. Select "Contact or number"

7. Select the user to forward calls to by entering their phone number or searching by name

Teams Desktop App

1. Click the ... by your profile picture then "Settings"

2. Click "Calls"

3. Toggle "Forward all calls" to on

4. For the "Choose how all your calls will be forwarded" selection, pick "Forward to a new number or contact

5. Select the user to forward calls to by entering their phone number or searching by name

Teams Mobile App

1. Inside of the Teams Mobile App, tap your profile picture in the top left corner

2. Tap "Settings"

3. Tap "Calling"

4. Toggle "Call forwarding" to on

5. Tap "Forward to"

6.  Tap "Contact or number"

7. Select the user to forward calls to by entering their phone number or searching by name
