Special Order IT Hardware Request

Question

How to request special order hardware that isn't covered by our usual catalog items. This includes things like tuned-up laptops, modelling and analytic desktops, high refresh rate monitors, etc.

Answer

  1. Create New Service Request
  2. Either attach a link to the specialized hardware that you've located or describe the issue that you are having and what you are trying to accomplish. 
  3. IT Procurement will contact you for any additional information needed and then reach out to vendors for quotes
  4. IT Procurement will return with a quote and instructions on how to purchase through BuyUSI

Additional Info

Any additional information, such as budget or desired hardware spec's, that can be included will speed the process up.
