Import University Calendar

Overview

These instructions tell you how to import the academic events on the University Calendar into your Outlook calendar on either Windows or Mac. The import file contains events like finals, registration, University holidays, and other important dates.  Each event is listed as an all day event and does not have a reminder.

Steps

Outlook Classic (Windows)

1. Download the "calendarimport2025_26.csv" file on the right of this article under Attachments. By clicking on the link, your computer should save the file to your Downloads.  (typically C:\Users\Username\Downloads)

2. Close all messages in Outlook - but leave Outlook open.

3. Click File.

4. Click Options.

5. Click Advanced.

6. Click Export.

7. Click Import from another program or file then Next.

8. Click Comma Separated Values then Next.

9. Click Browse and choose the CalendarImport2025_26.csv file that was saved in Step 1. Then, click OK.

10. Click Replace duplicates with items imported then Next.

11. Choose your Calendar folder - this is one level below the Mailbox folder (Your email address.) Then, click Next(DO NOT choose Inbox or a calendar folder under a personal folder)

12. Click Finish. It should start running at this point.

To check if the import worked properly, go to your Outlook calendar. On December 9, 2025, you should see "Final Exams" as an all-day event.

 

Outlook New (Windows)

1. Open the Outlook (New) applicaiton

2 Download the "calendar2025_26.ics" file on the right of this article under Attachments.

3. Click the calendar icon on the far left.

4. Click Add Calendar.

5. Click Upload from file.

6. Click Browse and choose the calendar2025_26.ics file that was saved in Step 2. Then, click OK.

7. Select your calendar.

8. Click Import.

To check if the import worked properly, go to your Outlook calendar. On December 9, 2025, you should see "Final Exams" as an all-day event.

 

Outlook Web Version (Windows or Mac)

1. Go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/

2. Follow steps 2-8 from the Outlook New (Windows) section of this article.
