How do I search multiple folders for a mail item?
Answer
Navigate to the search box and confirm that "All Folders" is selected. The current folder you are in determines what folder outlook automatically decides to search in. This can be changed by selecting the drop down menu, and changing it to the preferred folder you want to search in.

You can also search multiple specific folders by selecting the filter option on the top right corner of the search box. This allows you to filter your search based on who the email is from, to, Cc's included, the subject of the email, any keywords, a time-frame in which the email was sent, and even if the email contains attachments. There is also a variety of extra filters that you can add including:
- Bcc
- Body
- Flagged
- Importance
- Category
