How To Share Qualtrics Survey Preview Links With Those Outside USI.

This article covers the process in Qualtrics to share preview links with those outside USI. This will allow other collaborators to not have to sign-in to myUSI to access the preview.

This article covers the process in Qualtrics to share preview links with those outside USI. This will allow other collaborators to not have to sign-in to myUSI to access the preview.

Before You Begin

You will need to have an active Qualtrics account. Please complete the Qualtrics Account Request form if you do not currently have an account.

Steps

  1. Login to your Qualtrics account through myUSI (how to login). Navigate to the “Projects menu.

     

  2. Select your survey you want to share and ensure you are on the “Survey” tab near the top-left of the screen.

     

  3. Click on the “Preview” button near the top-right of the screen.

     

  4. You will be in the preview section of the survey. Click on the “Share Preview” button near the top-right of the screen.

     

  5. The following screen will appear. By default, Qualtrics sets the “Link visibility permissions” option to “Brand internal only”. You will need to update to the “Public” option and click “Save”.

     

  6. If your screen looks like the following, all individuals with preview links to this survey will now be able to view it without signing into myUSI.

  7. Click the copy link button to capture the preview URL to distribute to others. 

Additional Info

Please note that the “Public” option choice must be selected for each individual survey that you intend to share.
