Archie's Book Bundle and First Day Access - Connecting in Ultra Course View

Overview

This article overviews how to link Course Materials to your Blackboard Course, to connect to Archie's Book Bundle and First Day access.

Before You Begin

Access the course in which you are trying to link course materials to.

Steps

  1. Click on this plus + sign (Hover over the faint line and it turns purple) to connect the Content Market from any area, wheter it is withing a module, a document, a folder, or the main Content Page.

     
  2. When you click on the plus + sign, a drop-down menu will appear and to connect to the Course Materials link, which connects the digital course materials adopted as part of the Archie’s Book Bundle Program or First Day Access. To get to the Course Materials link, choose Content Market.

     

  3. This will open the Content Market. Choose the Course Materials icon and click the plus+ sign to add to your course.

  4. This will deploy it directly to your Blackboard Ultra course shell. It will be named Course Materials and will be “hidden from students”.

  5. To edit the name of the Course Materials link, you will use the ellipsis (3 dots on the right side) to edit the link. When you choose Edit, a new window will open on the right, you can edit the name, make it visible to students or set release conditions, allow class conversations, and add a description. Hit Save and all changes will be made in the course where the link is deployed.

  6. The edited link will look like this in your course. Your course materials are now linked and visible to students.
