How do I edit the default calendar for new events on an iPhone (iOS)?
Steps
- Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom, choose Apps.

- Scroll to Calendar

- tap Default Calendar

- and select your preferred calendar.

This ensures new events are automatically added to the chosen account (e.g. Outlook, Gmail, iCloud).

Additional Calendar Customizations (iOS):
- Change Default Alert Times: In Settings > Calendar > Default Alert Times, you can set alerts for birthdays, events, or all-day events.
- Change Event Duration: Tap "Duration for New Events" to set a default length for new entries.
- Toggle Holidays/Custom Calendars: Open the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom, and select or deselect options like "US Holidays".
