Overview
Microsoft Project is project management software that’s used to create schedules, project plans, manage resources and keep track of time. It has features such as Gantt Charts, Kanban Boards and project calendars for project management professionals.
Before You Begin
This guide will provide a set of instructions for students who are needing assistance with installing Microsoft Project on their device. However, in order to install the software, one must have a product key. The product key may be included with the course and can be retrieved by the instructor.
Steps
1. Clicking on the provided link will take you to the Microsoft page to begin the installation process.

2. Under Project Standard or Project Professional, click on microsoft365.com/setup link.
3. After clicking on the microsoft365.com/setup link, it will then redirect you to the Get Started page.
4. You will then click on the Get Started Button, which will then take you to the login page for Microsoft. As you begin the process of logging in, you will have to use a personal Microsoft email in order to log in.
5. Once you are logged in, you will then be asked to enter your product key.
6. After the product key is entered, you will then be able to download Microsoft Project Application, which will be available in the 64-bit or 32-bit versions.
7. Select the 64-bit version for Microsoft Project to begin the download.
