How do I add/remove apps on the Tools taskbar?

There are a lot of Screaming Eagles Apps, but you may not want to see every one of them. To add a Screaming Eagle App to your list, use the ellipsis (…) next to the Tools title and use the drop-down menu to View All. Then click on Screaming Eagles Apps to release the drop-down menu of all Tools. To add a tool to your list, click the icon that looks like a list with a plus sign. When it turns pink, the tool has been added. To favorite a tool and move it to your Shortcuts menu, click on the star. When it turns red, it has been added to your shortcuts. To remove a short cut or tool, just unclick. When it turns gray again, it will be removed from the Tools list and/or the Shortcuts menu.

How do I add/remove widgets on the Dashboard?

To add or remove widgets from your home screen, simply click on Find New Widgets. This will open a screen that shows you available widgets from USI. You can then click to Add or Remove from Dashboard.

Where is Office 365 at portal.usi.edu?

The full Office 365 Suite is provided free to students for as long as they are a student. Students can go to the Office 365 Tool under Screaming Eagles Apps and click on it to open the Office 365 home page. In the top right corner, click Install and More to download and install the Microsoft 365 Suite.

Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.), myUSI, Zoom, VoiceThread, and Panopto all have mobile apps that can be downloaded.

Additional Info

The mobile app does not support every web application, meaning that they may not have the same functionality of the web page on a desktop computer. If for any reason a program you use is not functioning as intended or not able to be located, try the web browser link at portal.usi.edu. The web browser version often resolves these difficulties.
